I've had lots of folks ask for this recipe lately, so I'm adding it to the blog. I've made several bread recipes, but this one is my favorite so far. It's pretty easy to make and it always turns out great! We use this bread in lots of different ways, it makes the best PB&J!! It's also great toasted. :) When you bake this bread, your whole house smells so good, and everyone gets really excited about eating it.

Your loaf of bread looks perfect :) It also looks a little darker than white bread. Do you substitute with some wheat flour? We also use spelt for some of our bread making. My husband makes a "mean" cinnamon raisin loaf using spelt.
ReplyDeleteHI happy in KY!!! :) The great thing about this recipe is that you can you use different types of flour. Sometimes I use wheat and sometimes white and sometimes I will mix them. I think the one in the photo I actually used 1 cup of wheat with 3 cups of white. That Cinnamon raisin sounds great!! We love cinnamon raisin bread here. :) Great chatting with you!!
